Blueberries are booming! Incredible production and distribution growth from 2010 to 2019 is highlighted, especially in the U.S.A., Canada, Chile, and Peru.  Here's why it matters to us … 

Andgar has been in the business of manufacturing blueberry processing equipment since we were founded back in 1973. Our backyard is full of glorious raspberry and blueberry fields, and our friends and neighbors are the growers and processors of many metric tons of berries on each farm, each harvest season. We've been building equipment based on the needs of berry farms in the Pacific Northwest & British Columbia for decades, innovating and growing right along with the farms and berry processing facilities we serve. 

In recent years, we've been able to connect with growers and processors in Chile and Peru, where the blueberry industry is skyrocketing. Success in the fields and in distribution fuels our innovative design and build teams; it drives that need to solve challenges in that middle link of the supply chain. Our goal continues to be providing solutions that help our customers efficiently and safely move berries from fields to a container with reliable, food-grade, automated equipment.  The success of the blueberry industry indicated in the USDA's new report, supports the success Andgar has seen over the years providing berry processing equipment to facilities throughout North and South America. We are grateful to be a part of the unique supply chain supporting sustainable global blueberry growth. We look forward to creating fully vested partnerships with growers and processors to help them successfully navigate ever-changing agricultural food supply and demand operations.
